Hi IGT -- This is Romeo -- I was quite active in 2005-06 -- then joined college and my guitarring took a dip In 2009 I thought may be a good gear will get me motivated back on learning and playing better so I got my self a -- ibanez Grg 170dx -- marshal amp But I had no clue I had completely lost interest and I don't even remember retuning it -- then I met a friend who's playing for the last 14 yrs mainly into flamenco stuff now and that just blew me I wanted to get back guitars the moment I returned home Hence I got myself a Yamaha f310 the cheapest spruce top dreadnought mainly because of my interest in percussive guitarring fingertapping and fingerpicking. I had been very disrespectful to the senior members who showed me the way -- but I was young then and want put everything behind me and start fresh. Please tell how can I practice acoustic and electric -- what are the popular practice routines ?? I also attend a lot of live concerts just to remind myself of how shitty I play and how little I know just to get my motivation levels up ! Regards, Romeo. ---------
Oh yes we do remember: https://indianguitartabs.com/f2/igt-awards-2006-a-24695-2.html#post289141 RoMeO_Gguru came across the sea He brought us pain and misery He killed our tribes, he killed our creed He took our game for his own need We fought him hard we fought him well Out on the plains we gave him hell But many came too much for cree Oh will we ever be set free? Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes Galloping hard on the plains Chasing the redskins back to their holes Fighting them at their own game Murder for freedom a stab in the back Women and children and cowards attack Run to the hills run for your lives Run to the hills run for your lives RoMeO_Gguru on the barren wastes Hunting and killing their game Raping the women and wasting the men The only good indians are tame Selling them whisky and taking their gold Enslaving the young and destroying the old Run to the hills run for your lives
Hi alpha01 thank you for remembering me -- I was bad / unbearable / an outlaw / or down right stupid...but I come with a mindset to change all your older perceptions of me ..and with the perseverance to learn. for good this time.
Wow I feel privileged now !! Even bjr remembers me -- for people who are guessing just imagine how annoying I could have been that even after 5 yrs of inactivity such senior members remember me :O
Seniority not on the basis of age ..but tenure on forum and skill On separate note alpha I was in Poona from 2006-09 we could have met ...in Viman Nagar
