Guitar Tuner.

    I wish to buy a guitar tuner, I have got a few doubts can sombebody please clear them???

    1. Can I have one for the accoustic guitar?
    2. How much will it cost?
    3. Any other details that a newbie needs to know before buying a guitar tuner??

    Yes.. A pitch pipe would cost you 150 Rs a Tuner would cost you between 600 - 2000.. You need to have pickup on your guitar.. One tip while buying. Dont buy a tuner which is not Yamaha or a Korg.. He he ;)

    Can you please elaborate on the pitch pipe? I am not willing to invest more 700 - 850 INR can you please also put some lines on how to use the tuner.

    Different tuners have different ways of working.. I digital; tuner requires you to connect your guitar into it and play the note.. I balance is provided and you have to tune until the balance comes to the center.. You have to set the note to which you are planning to tune that string..

    Acoustic tuners require you to sit in a quite place and tune accoring to the sound heard.. Another way is using Software tunerss. They will play the note are you tune the string till you achieve the note..

    Pitch Pipes' Profiles amy be different but usage is similar.. You have to blow thru the opitch pipe notes and tune your guitar to that pitch..
