Black Sabbath: Listen to 'Black Sabbath' and 'War Pigs' from Ozzy Osbourne's album 'The Ozzman Cometh'. It is a recording of a Black Sabbath practice session but it sounds extremely scary... I got so freaked out the first time I listened to that track when I was in Class 9... I like the track 'Symptom of Universe' too.

Judas Priest: Their track 'Living After Midnight' is pretty popular.

Poets of the Fall: 'Lift' is worth a listen.

If you like Freebird by Lynyrd Skyryd - you have to listen to Fall of Peacemakers by Molly Hatchet.

Molly Hatchet - Fall Of The Peacemakers Live - YouTube
    Some awesome multiple guitar work.

I remember hearing this song somewhere in 1999-2001 period on Delhi's 102.6 FM.
Jut herd the song, but forgot the lyrics. Didn't know the song's name, didn't know the band's name ... just faintly recalled one or two words from the lyrics.
    !!!

... not able to find this song till about 2010. After browsing countless lyrics sites, just trying to read lyrics and fit the music for 10 years - I chanced upon Fall of peacemaker and I felt somehow it fits the music which I had in my mind. Watched the video and imagine my feeling when I heard what I wanted to hear!

Also check out the guitar work on Savage Garden - To the moon and back.
Sometimes we find good stuff in pop music too.

For Slash, the new album Apocalyptic Love is good. The title track Apocalyptic Love and Anastasia are good. You're a Lie from the same album is good too.

    that's a good song...
But what's awesome about the guitar in it?
I like "I want you" more than any other savage garden song..
