What use now, is your worthless repent?
Done misdeeds and crimes, though you never meant?

In strong endeavors and sedulous ways,
wherewithals pent; and in a moment of disgrace,
an unworthy penny is spent - over unbecoming greed,
over a causeless strife, over a wantless need.

For the sunlight has hit the blase,
where the lives of us are commonplace.
    Hopes of reprieves are frustrated,
    their rights and dreams sequestrated.

The birds of prey, they sing and fly
    over battlegrounds, to aeries high.
where the hopes are dry, as the brooks and mead,
where the corpses lie, in lust and greed.

They feed on the grievances of lost souls,
pounce as they come by, whither you go.
The only way out is the way deep down,
through unrighteous ways and slippery ground.

Fettered by wants in a ceaseless succession,
a perpetual taste for venal subordination.
wont as we are, wretched to indolence,
this rot, forged in a pious pretence
of faith. But, amid the shady borders of civility,
pervading the tenderness of man in his docility,
when others countlessly relapse into treadings vile,
few men they fight, for a few hopes awhile.

    haha no!
though it would be a pious deed, I already have a lot on my plate right now..!
Besides, I place the fault not in the 'system' or the 'bureaucracy', but in ourselves...
...and that we could learn a lesson or two from those 'fighters' and apply it to ourselves.
    That would help considerably!

If you consider your own work, its necessity and its benefits above this crusade, yes.

    and thanks! I know it's a bit of a vocab show-off, but I tried!

Unfortunately there is no rule set in stone that clearly demarcates between what is "a little" and what is "too much" ...

    hmm...
So then why not make it legal.
add 12.5 % VAT, maybe some convenience tax too.

Pay 200 rs. extra and save yourself from police verification for passports...
Atleast it'll bring the decadence to the surface.
