    Nice man :)

Are you sure that the "chinna pilai" part is right?

    I'm hearing it like this:

    (Em)Chinna pilai (B)pola nee a(Em)dam pidippath(B)enna solla
    (Em)Ennai vida (B)yaarum illai (Em)anbu seidhu (B)unnai vella

    Edit:

Another change in the pallavi that I'd do:

(Em)Yennodu vaa vaa endru solla mat - (Bm)ten,
(D)Unnai vittu veru engum (Em) poga matten.

    I BGM:

    (Strings lead)
    - - - - | Bsus4 Am7 |
    - - - - | Em Am7 |
    (next 4 bars, no chords)
    (Guitar lead)
    B C B, C B..
    B C Ebdim, Em Ebdim...
    B7, , , B7, , , B7, , , B-B-C.

    II BGM:

(On the 11th and 12th bars)
    C , , | Bm Am7

II charanam chords are different from the I charanam. Not only the chords, but the whole mood of the II charanam is different. Here is my version. Corrections would be appreciated :)

    Charanam II

    (G)Kadhalukku Ilakkana (D)me, thannal varum
    (Em7)chinna chinna thalaigana (Dsus4)me..

    (G)Kadhal adhai porukanu (D)me, illaiyenil
    (Em7)Katti vaithu udhaikanu (Dsus4)me..

    (C)Unnudai(D)ya kaiya(C6)le dhandana(C)yai thandhale
    (Am7)yen nenjam kondaadu(Bm)me..

    (Em)Kannathil a(B)***um adi (Em)muthathale (B)vendum adi
    (Em) (B) (Em) (B)
    (Em)Mattradhellam (B)unnudaiya (Em)idhazhgalin (B)ishtapadi

    (D)Yendha desam (Am6)pona podhum (Am)yennudaiya (Em)sondha dhesam
    Unadhu idhayam dha(B)ne..

    (No chords thereafter)

    Made some changes.

Thanks for your input Watchingyou (BTW what's your name?)
Hmmm....heard it a few more times. I still hear like this:

(Em)Yennodu vaa vaa endru solla mat - (D*)ten,
(Bm**)Unnai vittu veru engum (Em)poga matten.

*Bass notes played are D and A
**The bass note is clearly a B then a D and then B again. But I hear an A note as well within the bar. It could be a Bm7 possibly.

Although the melody momentarily hits D# on a few occasions, I can still hear only Em chords being played throughout.

You are right about the 2nd charanam though. It's totally different.
    Didn't bother transcribing it.

    Guru. :)

The bass strings are a bit confusing. Bass goes like this:

    Yennodu vava endru solla matten,
    E--------E----D-----E-------G---A
Unnai vittu veru engum poga matten.
    B----------D----A-----E--------A---D

Although the base note is a B at the exact start of "Unnai", I don't hear the B minor feel there - it looks a standard VII-major root-minor transition, and the D and A in the bass later is emphasising that idea to me. Having a Bm7 there makes the chord too "full" - it looks like a simple major chord to me. The B bass note might be a carry over of the Bm chord used previously I guess.

You're right. I just listened to it again. Weird though, the vocals and the clarinet (or whatever it is) are implying a B major chord, which confuses. The interlude before "Ennai vida" also has Em and B alternating. But only Em is played during the vocals.
