1. crappy camera
2. not perfect playing
3. bad T-shirt color
4. good Yamaha JR1 Travel/Small guitar

Me BE-ECE with 6+yrs experience and working as a Design Engineer in an Electronics industry.
As far as Music and guitar is concerned still the level 1...
IR and Antonio Banderas has been my motivation for the guitar...

Presently working as SAP Functional Consultant @IBM... Married, house wife with two kids... Actually I learned guitar during the year 1989 to 1991 and after my marriage I lost my concentration. When I was alone in abroad during 2011 again I started to practicing...

Me - Doctor, Consultant Radiologist living in the UK.
Self-taught keyboard enthusiast. I don't think I'll fit into any particular level.
Wish I'd made the effort to train formally in my younger days.
IR is my fav. Like ARR, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Lionel Ritchie, etc as well.

 

is marriage a bottleneck for many talents ???
my company also using SAP... and people are forcing to put everything into it.. though we do it.. at the end of the year something is always missing...

As displayed in Top RHS corner, I now stay in Gurgaon, Haryana. I am an Associate Actuary working in a private Insurance Company and I am working in insurance industry since 1984.

I started guitar in 2008 and I am yet to be fluent in chords / progression, though I can play decent chord changes - simple like happy birthday song. More bend towards scale and tabs.

I hardly get time to play during weekdays, but I do manage one or two hours during week end.

I am now a self learner with more reading (to understand ragas and chords) through net. I do not have any musical background including carnatic music though I talk a lot in this forum on ragas.

My present learning is towards understanding Guitar Music Theory. You can see me writing more about modes and ragas and the last few presented songs were the result of my learning. I learn a lot from this forum - thanks to the people commenting on the post and more from Rajesh / Thamboo in better understanding the basic theory. My aim is to finish tabbing about 100 songs and then choose few best out of them and practice so that I do not need the music stand.

I never thought u would be a doctor.. bcos.. all these days I thought doctors dont have hobbies... attending patients are the hobbies I thought... interesting... self-learner could be best guru..
same here... IR is my fav... I know I sound little outdated for my age... but what to do his real music attracted me more than anybody...

ofcourse I am not closing ears to other composers when their works are neat and good...

No Guitarsen, I don't belong to SSNS family in youtube. But I am his subscriber, love to watch his videos. The way he handle the guitar is awesome.

I love to play IR & Harris songs... Now a days harris gives more importance to guitar in his songs... for example, mundhinam paarthene, ondra rendaasaigal, endhan kan munne, mudhal naal indru, etc, etc.,
