    Hi,
Cud someone Please upload a video of pull offs on all 6 strings on an acoustic guitarusing all finger permutations ( 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-3, 2-4, 3-4, 1-2-3, 1-2-4, 2-3-4, 1-3-4, 1-2-3-4) with proper technique?? I really need to learn pull offs. I m trying really hard to get them correct from past month but still no progress.. i searched for the videos on youtube but they are all on electric guitar?

ARE pulls easier to do on an electric guitar?
    Thanx in advance !

Yes they are a bit easier on the electric guitar but mastering it will take some time on either if you are totally new to it.

The kind of exercise you are talking about is called a trill exercise. A trill is a combination of 2 notes played repeatedly using a hammer on to move from the lower note to the higher, followed by a pull-off for moving from higher to lower.

It needs some patience. Initially, practice it at a low tempo and use an exaggerated side-wise motion to actually pluck it with the fretting hand as you pull-off. Do this at really slow tempo (something like 60 bpm, 1 quarter note per beat). Try to master it on 1-3 finger combo first as this is the easiest and the most common trill.

If you feel pain in the hand or in the muscles between the joints of the finger, STOP and shake your hand a couple of times and rest for a few minutes. This is very important to avoid injury to your tendons of the hand. Fingertips might hurt but that's usual for anyone new to guitar.

Once you are able to play the notes clearly and distinctly, speed up. As you speed up you will notice that you will need lesser side-wise motion to make it sound out and your trill will be a lot more fluid.

    alpha1 I BLUES!

If you've picked the string prior to "lift-off" you don't require a "flick".
Otherwise (and perhaps more so in acoustic), you may flick while lift-off so that the string vibrates ...

I don't think there is any rule set in stone that you cannot or you should.

    Try it this way:
Keep your 1st finger on 6th fret, pick and then hammer-on the 3rd finger onto the 8th fret (the 1st finger is still grounded on the 6th fret). Now without picking, flick the third finger slightly sideways so that you sound the 6th fret again.
