My requirement is the following :-
    - Matte finish/see thru/less gloss required on the body as well as the neck
    - No Lacquer on the body and neck will affect the wood in the long run so need to put a long lasting thin transparent lacquer throughout but dont know where will i find that (Automobile paint shops??)

Solid Body Guitar to be build out of :-
Mahogany, Maple and Rosewood & Walnut wood

    Suggestions plz...

Check if they have the kind you are looking for. The lacquers I mean. A wholesale purchase I guess is something they'll entertain.
There are some chemical & paint factories in Mumbai at Byculla & Goregaon that might have it but not sure if it's the kind that's applicable on wood.

You could stick a wallpaper on the body & then apply gloss on top, that works for some cheapo electrics I've come across lol
Have you asked around a bunch of carpenters about these?

If ya gonna use premium wood then I'd be careful around using these products. If you get some then test it out on some spare blocks of wood first to see if it does something bad to it.

    Talk to a carpenter.
They do wood varnish every day.

Yeah even i am thinkin of taking it to a carpenter once its ready...Coz the process of applying Clear coat requires lot of sanding coating repeatitions which is just a pain. Plus i will hav to buy a Spray unnecessarily...

    Anyways thanks...
