U can use a software like Virtual dj. It shows the key then ucan apply the common chord progressions,
like [I IV V] [II V VI] etc. Most songs have these progressions.

Also u can Try Daddrio Ichords. Don't rely on it tough. It shows many unecessary or wrong chords in betwen(due to noise in song, hip hop beat, Prominet drum beats)
Set the slider to easy. Then pick the chords.(they all have to follow chord proggression) Cut out the wrong chords in the progressions.

Also in Indian music, as my master told me, there are some notes prominently being repeated. Translate them to chords. Sometimes they use releative minors also. So give them a try if it doesn't sound right.

    Hope it helps.

    it will come with time.
I just loop the solo's start in Vlc.Then try fretting notes on the fretboard quickly.
When it matches the song. Then u know the rest.

    Hello all.

Plugin Chordino is great for finding simple as well as complex chord shapes. I made a video about how to use the plugin. Note: The example song at the end might not have proper rhythm.

Here is the link to the video:

Basically it gives a fairly good idea about what chord you need to play, and the rest you can fine tune by playing maj , min, maj7 or other nearby chords.

Check out these tabs that were generated with the help the software:

Do you think it would help? I mean, if you wanna learn it why not depend on the sources you can find online. All you need to do is follow them and apply it. I couldn't believe that software can help you out.
