Hello folks,I happened to see a girl yesterday in the market.She was buying something from a road-side stand.there was something abt her that hooked me... it was like.. i was not looking at a stranger...but my own thoughts...forgotten and lost somewhere in my soul.... i wrote a few poems on her...here is one.. it is a ghazal.... Sehra mein saavan-bhado ke sapnon jaisi lagti ho, is dushman-dushman duniya mein,tum apno jaisi lagti ho. tapee hui dharti per behti,mand-mand purvaee see, tum jaron ki thandi dhoop, ki thandi kirno jaisi lagti ho. kanval ke komal patton par,os ke qatron si nirmal, tum saavan ki pehli barkha ki,boondon jaisi lagti ho. kabhi haqeeqat lagtee ho,kabhi koi sundar sapna, kabhi mujhe tum qisson vaali,pariyon jaisi lagti ho. tumke dekhka jo maine,to nazrein meri mahak utheen tum rang birange,khushboo-khushboo phoolon jaisi lagti ho. dil karta hai har dharkan par naam tumhara main likh doon, tum pooja ke shlokon si,deen ke kalmon jaisi lagti ho. tumhari khushboo hardam meri zaat se lipti rehtee hai, tum mujhko mere dil ke purane zakhmon jaisi lagtee ho.

Btw how many people on reading this imagined the girl to be a sophisticated, urbane type in top-skirt/trousers and stilettos as opposed to a demure downtown one in salwar-kameez?
