you might want to register at some international music forums if you want to discuss international metal music, you'll hardly find any followers here :(

    alpha1 I BLUES!

I had few Trivium albums - but they sounded all the same.
    Deleted them after a while.

Besides, I cannot handle the "white noise" sounding guitars. It just makes my head explode.

well dunno abt odrs but trivium has been highly influential on my style of playing... they r one of my most favorite bands.... if u wanna hear some good songs by them do check out
The Crusade(one of the greatest metal instrumentals)
    Entrance of the conflagration
    Becoming the dragon
detonation(has some of the best solos i have ever heard)
    kirisute gomen
    of prometheus and the crucifix
into the mouth of hell we march, almost every song from shogun album
a gunshot to the head of trepidation (just hear this for the nearly 2 mins long solo)
pull harder on the string of your martyrs etc etc
actually their recent album(In Waves) was a bit mainstream but Shogun was easily their best album....many people havent heard that album....and mostly whoever i ask about Trivium have heard just "dying in your arms" which was again a kind of mainstream single of Ascendancy album....i think if u explore the sounds of "Shogun" u can dig out some classy riffs and amazing solos....i will post some youtube links of their gud stuff...

Do you think having just one good album makes them worthwhile... i am not anti-trivium but it's a generalized thing for all bands.
