So i finally got the parts for the effects pedals i want to build.......itching to start off......should be ready soon..... A pic of the parts and the enclosures etc..... Photos of The Home Studio Musician Forum | Facebook
Cool, so what are you going to make? And when to get the potentiometers from? I can get resistors/caps & some other stuff from hobby2go or rhydolabz, but those I'm forced to import for CTS ones especially
Yeah, It is a pain, go to shopping.kitsnspares.com, search with part numbers and you should find all that you need these. its pretty simple and you can pay by CC, Net Banking, but then the prices are too high....
So here is some progress........parts soldered onto the PCB......Back hurts now and so does the eyes.....had a hard time looking properly, too much glare off the PCB traces and the light color PCB made it even worse to see better....... Here' the picture. Arya Sridhar's Photos | Facebook
Hey dude, i got the missing capacitor yesterday, done with soldering etc, now need to finish the wiring, which is going to be done tonight.....I am hoping to have all the wiring etc done and it should (hopefully) will work at first fire up.
So the pedal is done, working and tested out, i am still working on tweaking the voltages on the JFETS to hit the sweet spot. Here is a clip I recorded off my laptop' mic, let me know how close you think the tone gets to a Marshall Plexi.
