Don't download... buy their CDs else they'll quit making music and enter bollywood... You can find some CDs for sale on Flipcart.
DAMN! At least buy their music... Unlike other foreign bands, you can't complain their CDs or albums are expensive... I request you to buy their albums which come at a very low price compared to those by the mainstream and famous bands... Indian rock and metal scene is in its blossoming stage and all it needs is an impetus from us fans... Its because of people like you that we can't flourish... I understand that stuffs from US and Europe cost quite a bit... But you can't say the same for our bands...They generally cost 200 bucks or less, the price of your guitar strings... Now unless you are a poser, you should like the albums by Skyharbor, Motherjane, Demonic Resurrection, Blakc, Khooni Murga, Indus Creed, etc... Go and buy them... You won't be disappointed...
woaahhh...chill people...i just wanted 2 enjoy the Indian version of hard rock.....so people out there.....i just dropped the idea of downloading and i am going straight 2 the store 2 buy the orignal CD....@tirtha2chester thanx 4 the suggestion..
lol don't let these people make you feel guilty about wanting to download music..there's nothing wrong with that. also considering most indian bands hover around the average and below-average mark not all the CDs are worth buying. you can download the album first, listen to it, and then if you like it you can always go buy it later as well. anyway here you can listen to BLAKC's MotheredLand for free (not sure about download but you can stream it): BLAKC
There aren't too many well known hard rock bands in India per se... Most of them have their own styles, basically a mixture of various genres... Some tending towards black/death metal and most towards psychedelic and progressive rock with and many with a heavy influence on carnatic or eastern classical music... If you like something a bit on the softer side, you can try Skyharbor and Indus Creed etc... More towards the progressive side, but nevertheless good music... One band you must give a listen to is Motherjane... They are brilliant with their very original music... However, if you do listen to metal, try songs by Demonic Resurrection, Albatross, Bhayanak Maut, etc... There is also whole new genres to explore... Vedic metal is one of them... If you are a metalhead, you should listen to Rudra, a pioneering act into the vedic metal scene...
search stacy's penitence, freddie's nightmare on youtube, you might like them, bit less metal then you might expect..it will help if you include word "mizo" after those names.
If you guys wanna seriously check out some kick ass nu-metal music in Hindi, You MUST listen to Punkh's newest E.P! It will blow your mind guys! Pu

i did actually, and i really disliked it. an industrial/death album is not what i was hoping for, it was almost comical. it wasn't a complete failure and some people actually enjoy that style, but i loved the way they sounded back in the day and i hope they return to that style someday.
Totally agreed man.David's wife is corrupting his music sensibilities with her awful band probably lol
