I'd recorded this quite a while ago...before any of the others I'd posted but somehow, never really posted it. Now I'm sitting at the Frankfurt airport, getting bored and figured I might as well get some opinions on it. I think my voice suits Art Garfunkel songs (Of course, not anywhere near his voice quality but still, I think I'm better off singing his songs than Extreme's)

This was a prototype for a recording I did with another friend later. I quite like how it came out.

I don't exactly know why soundclick gives me only 20 sec of hearing on this?
    But I liked those 20 secs !

You did melody and harmony? I agree, your voice does quite suit their songs, the softer ones anyway. Good job.

Your voice is very close to the original singer, nicely done man.
I really enjoyed your cover, unfortunately you recorded such a short part!
Hope to hear the full cover sometime!

    WOW DUDE.....

You know what i am not a vocalist but I am a pure instrumental guitar player..and I tend to concentrate more on the guitar parts in any song that i listen..

Dude UR voice has those soothing vibrations that hooked me on to ur voice completely more than the guitar playing....Now making an attempt to divert my mind and listen to guitar playing...

This is the fourth time i am listening to it..Guitar playing is good..Soft Touch as always...Loved it..

DAMN you i loved this song man...... GOOD ONE!!!! (Gonna make it listen to my special one since she is a huge fan of this band..)

I heard this and pretty much liked its flawlessness.

And I too loved his voice. Infact I saved his version of 'While my guitar gently weeps' and do listen to it sometimes. My friends liked it too. Both the playing and specially the voice, including how he manages to get his own falsetto in chorus and in perfect sync too.

yeah, I did. Luckily, youtube has people who sing each part separately so that helps quite a bit.

Thanks, like I said this was a bit of a prototype for an unsuccessful longer version. I will record the complete one soon. I'm planning to get some equipment to help me record and this'll probably be the first song I will.

haha, I'm flattered! I think my voice still stands to improve and it will (all it will take is singing regularly for a month) but that was very nice to read. thank you!

Getting it in synch gets easier with practice. I just have problems synching when I improvise on the guitar because I can't always tell how I played it...especially when I mistime some notes. and <3 for the nice words.
