Two weeks ago i made the instrumental of this famous song.
Now i did the vocals, please don't think i'm Mukesh, i just tried the best i can.
I also know i'm not a good singer, although i think it isn't bad at all.

Good cover...Sung nicely...I liked it..
This is what i felt.
I liked the places where u have really transitioned smoothly over the changes..
Ur voice has a tinge of the Great Bhupen hazarika feel....Completely different than how Mukesh sings...

I would love to listen to to something like that...if u can try...

Personally i think the vocals aren't so good, i have to record this once again.
My Sur is not steady as i'll try to sing it with some more feelings and more passion aswell.
But as i said in my previous post, i'm not Mukesh, but i'll try it to do the best i can.

Did the vocals once again and updated the song on my soundclick page!
Its better than the previous version, although its not yet what it has to be.
Its a very tough song, just check it out people!!

 

You start off well but at times, your voice gets nasal...like you said, it's a difficult song and you've done a reasonably good job. I think this sounds better than any recordings of your voice that I remember having heard.

Also, where in the Netherlands do you live?

As i already mentioned, i'm not a singer although i try to do the best i can.
Playing the keyboards is my passion and sometimes i do the vocals, but i prefer other better singers to do the vocals, i just love it when other people, i mean good vocalists, are singing the songs i made. In the past i did some recordings along with some other IGT-ians, Rakesh, Shailja, Crazy Engineer and Parry. And i have to admit, the recordings i made with Rakesh and with Shailja were the best songs i ever made.
I personally think, when talking about the vocals, "When I Need You" is my best song.

BTW, I live in Eindhoven, the Netherlands!
