Hey guys.........Dad is going to the states.......and I am allowed to get a $100 pedal...........I presently have a Digitech RP90........and was thinking of switching over to pedals........I have shortlisted... Crybaby Classic Crybaby 535Q Hardwire SC-2 Valve distortion MI Audio Crunchbox V3 I was initially very inclined to the wahs...........but then i realized that these distortion pedals are hardly found in India......So i am confused as to which path to take........I have been playing guitar for 4 years....and electric for the past 2..........kindly help me out in this situation.......Also do suggest some other good alternatives form USA if possible.... Thanks in advance.......
I have already checked the Mxr.......Didnt suit me.......Btw...should i go for a distortion or a wah......i am in need of both right nw..........and the problem is that.......though wahs are available in India.....they are WAYY overpriced....
Buy what you need more... I guess it should be distortion... and price will vary on what pedal you want to buy.. Like Boss pedals are equally priced in India and US so no point in getting them from abroad.. on the other hand MXR's are expensive in India and much cheaper in the States.. For distortion Dirty Bomb is the best IMHO... If you have a Tube amp you can get a Tubescreamer kinda pedal..
Check on Best Buy - Computers, Video Games, TVs, Cameras, Appliances, Phones Get a distortion pedal from there. But doesnt make sense if u r going to pay the same amount in US. So do ur homework properly!!!! U can buy a Dynamic wah by Boss later on from India if you like the sound of it.
Thanks for the reply guys.........Btw.....managed another 70$ ....so i have 170$ now.....I am sure that i'll probably manage to collect 200$ by the time dad leaves.........So i am spending 100$ on a crybaby classic.......that leaves 100$ for the distortion........I have the Hardwire sc2 in mind.....have ruled out the fullbore metal....any views on the metal muff??...micro or standard......
Metal muff has a kick ass distortion man. I had checked that one @Albertos in mumbai few months back.
