Get out of my life, and never come again... For if it wasnt you, i wouldnt be havin all this pain.... YoU lost me for good, coz thats what you longed for... I know you didnt deserve me, but still i'm feeling sore.... So i'm going free... What i want now i see... This is who i'm gonna be... Simply alone me...!! Aint gonna be this for long, I'm gonna start brand new... I'll try to fix my heart, with remaining pieces so few.... Now i'll be strong again, for my own sake.... Will now never keep company, of People who act so fake... So i'm going free... I'll see what i wanna see... & This is who i'm gonna be... Simply alone me...!!
why calm down? nothing wrong with being a bit more explosive when it comes to feelings..that's what leads to good poetry in the end
umm...its not so..at least not in my case...if i am very explosive..i could throw things here and there and do what not..! but i can pen down only after all that stupid stuff...if i try writing it at that time...who knows i might just crumble the paper off ..
i understand what you mean, but it depends really..if your emotions are clouding your rationality then the poem that will come out will be purely emotional and maybe not logical (like this one is). after your emotions go down and you look back with a fresh perspective the scenario comes differently to you so a write up based on that would be more logical and thought out. my bad actually, i didn't mean to say purely emotional poetry is the only way to good poetry but it's just a different approach to writing personally i write with a clear state of mind but always feeling the same emotion i did at the time i really felt it. so it comes out as hybrid logic-emotion
...wildcat ....emotions are only temporary feelings...if you write them down, they become a prison of memories...then one day you burn down your writings, and start afresh.I still maintain my new belief that its a bad idea to write down negative feelings, you unconsciously assert/accept them. Also, as concerning this poetry, its good.
call me wild..but dun call me a cat.. i hatttteeeeeeeeeee cats..! emotions are temprory..agreed but..no ..they dun really register in my mind i mean even if i write them down i never read my own poems.. hehe..like not even once..i write..i can't spend much time on a poem..no matter how long it is..max. ten minutes..i think....i close the diary ..and thats it
QUOTE=nandy0894;442498]umm disagreed.. reason : then why do people love Shakespeare.. ?[/QUOTE]I guess he meant 'this' poem, not 'a' poem, which makes his argument correct. This poetry is indeed convincing, and that's just cuz of its simplicity...
