Fender stratocaster or ibanez GRG170DX??

    I've decided to buy an electric guitar but don't hv much knowledge about em
    So i eanted to ask
    Which guitar should i buy among the two i like
    A fender stratocaster or an ibanez GRG170DX??
    Please suggest me a better guitar if you know of one
    Within price range RS 12000-RS 16000
    my primary requirements are
    1. 3 pickups
    2. 24 frets
    3. Playability
    4. good looks
    5. Remaining in tune (if at all possible)
    Please also tell me what amp n processor i should get!
    I ws thinking of buying a gt-6 or would that be too much for a newbie??
    N don't any idea about amps
    PLEASE HELP ME OUT :)

    Sorry but there is nothing great that u will find in the range of 16000. So irrespective of genres i wud stick to Yamaha Pacifica along with a good AMP and pedals.

    I concur with both - the pacifica and the cort x6. But I own a GRG170DX, it's a pretty decent guitar for the price and versaile as well (I play blues on it). I'm not sure if buying a Fender makes sense if it's not an American strat or the least a MiM strat. I'm not sure about the model# but there a couple of good Washburns in the market in that range which are great or your genre of playing.
    I owned a Roland Cube 15XL for almost a year and it's a great amp for beginners. Has got good cleans and 4 different modellings for overdrive and metal playing. I suggest play it out at a store and pick up what you connect with...
