thanks..well..i came to know about atif's version from u..dunno how i missed..listened to it as well jus now..what is that drunken kinda texture in his voice esp in this song..is his voice nasal quality?..but nothing touches the original no matter who tries..originals are by gods of music..aatif is good in his own way ..
sumanavo razor..can u do the tutorial for the aatif's version along with strumming pattern?..or any other experts..well only name i am getting is bjr as of now?..

 

remakes are good as long as they are made more musically interesting, rich, heart-touching. this one aint touchin my anything!

 

i dont think much abt these..as i just listen to music..thats all..whoever it might be..i still maintain aatif is good in his own way..maybe a couple of places there were gadbad of sur..lol..but he has given couple of hits n ppl do adore him.so i neednt comment

gadbad of sur?...which part you're talking about...i personally like aatifs version ...today also i was teaching my friend the strumming pattern of this song...i think he purposefully did the piyakkar kinda sound...you gotta listen listen listen and then you'll say wow...aatif has done a great job...m sorry video lesson not possible...maybe it will take a month ...to post a video lesson...i dont think bjr will upload any video tutorials...he did an audio tutorial though...

 

but i believe he's got a good voice, not exactly nasal, just that he's not made to sing for bollywood. probably pakirock bands were better.

o he did make an audio lesson for me...actually i havent seen any video lessons made by bjr...i would be glad if he makes one....well he is an experienced musician...except him others Are 'batauli' party(including me )...aatif tried to create his own version and it has to be slightly different from mohd. Rafi's one...and the gadbad is actually a dissonance which he wanted to create in that song...

exactly my point. He's the one person i regard above everyone else. someone who could sound different suiting each actor and still never get a note wrong. he is the god of singing.

actually i never tried to say he did a bad song. just that it didn't touch my heart as well as the original did. maybe rafi's emotion-conveying capabilities were unmatched.
