Guys I wanna get a processor that has a very nice distortion (AWESOME AMP MODELING) for heavy metal, metal core etc etc. Which one should I geT? And what amp should I get or should I get one? Cuz i can use it with my home stereo if i want. Help me guys. Line 6 POD HD300 (Little out of the budget) Korg AX3000G (Doesnt have an interface but still) Which one of these? Know any better pedal? I currently own a vypyr 15. Will its distortion be better than my vypyr's distortion? And I also need okay effects. Thanks!
I own a Boss ME-25, does the job for me, effects are good and usable on it, amp modelling is usable.....for that price why dont you try looking for POD XT Live.
Isnt the hd series better than the old line 6 xt and x3 series? Also the HD series has better amp models right?
i was the one who offered him 7k for it and the deal was sealed an hour ago anyways get the hd300 kid
No but where did you find it? as in website? mutual friend ? music shop? IGT? etc could you give me details cause i'm looking for one too Him as in rickkkyrich? Same thing How and where? @amit if you can get the hd300 for quality of sound otherwise go for Me25.. its the best processor in its league and comes with usb interface you'll even have spare money with which you can 1. invest the saved money (around 2-3k) in getting fender cables/new poles for pickups/better tuners/guitar servicing etc which would minimize disturbance OR 2. save up and upgrade pickups
For used gear: 1. Facebook groups. (Alberto music used gear etc) 2. Classifieds (Olx sulekha etc) Can't paste the link for Facebook groups now. I request deepsal to do it if possible.
Ok guys. One quick question. Does the Pod HD300 have a presence control for the amps? I my friend played the ME-25 and he didn't like it very much. The distortion is what I'm after. Heavy, crunchy metal distortion. And the Pod HD 300 will be better in the long run. I wont need an effects unit in like forever!
BTW guys. I saw a pair of Dragon Fire 81 and 85 going on sale in ebay for 4.5k. Free shipping from the US. Looks like a good deal. You guys might wanna check it out. They're like a pair of really cheap emgs. A little better than emgs too. Dragonfire Active Pickup Set, 81/ 85, Works with EMG! | eBay
yup it does and hd300 truimphs over all the other processors in its price range looking for thick chugs??? get a good mohagany guitar 1st @VADER search for am used instrumental on fb
Deal was sealed? aha? Don't give wrong info dude... Anyways.. this is the Facebook group i was talking bout AMUSED
Close your eyes, ask the shopkeeper to give you a Boss ME75, come home and play... Beats anything at your price range
Boss ME - 75???? If you meant Boss ME 25 I am with you on that. But keep in mind, Boss ME 25 may not be a great tool for Live Stuff, It doesn't have on the fly effects, You will have to create patches and ensure that they are in the order you need live, effects are good on the pedal, and the best thing i like about it is the looper and the "Super Stack" option, Super stack makes the entire sound as if played in a concert, something like a pile of stacks..... Effects are Good, Some amp modulations sound good like the Fender Twin, Acoustic, Marshall Vintage, Vox AC30 sounds fantastic I must say, and also the 5150/6505, Mesa Rectifier sucks, and other high gain amp modelling sucks.
OOPS!! sorry.. I actually wanted to mean Boss ME70 not ME@%.. Korg AX300G is better than ME25... You better start collecting single units... They are way more preferred by the pros than MultiFx processors
Ok! Ill be using the pedal for playing heavy metal and hard rock so i need awesome distortion. And Personally, I prefer Multi Effects. Nowadays all the multieffects pedals have decent amp modelling and affects and they are more easy to use in a live and studio situation. And If you buy stomp boxes youll need a good amp(Tube). Multieffects pedals work with PA's! 5 stomps will cost a total of 20k and a good tube amp will cost like 40k. Then why not by a good pa system and a multieffects processor that has good amp modelling, like the hd series where I can save and switch presets with ease, get a looper, plenty of amp models and stomp boxes and a usb interface? And itll only cost a little! All the 'Stompboxes are better' isnt all that true.
