hello everyone atlast i got my first guitar IBANEZ V72ECE..though everyone out there suggested me to stay away from ibanez acoustic but i hardly had any option other than cort and gb&a..so i decided to stick with the reputation of the brand..i hope i had nt made a BIG mistake as a beginner..hope its gud for the beginner.. Anyone out there who wud like to share his IBANEZ experience.. Wish me luck
previously planned to go with an ibanez grg 170dx but changed my mind...but that was electric guitar...hope you enjoy your guitar journey...
had i made a bad decision..what your take on that..you r a experiencd player you must have played or heard about that model..as a beginner shud i care for such things as i hardly know anythng..and i think i had made a costly jump as a beginner..
well a beginner wont be able to judge between a good guitar or a bad guitar by simply hearing ...yes one thing he can judge is comfortability...looks,feel of the fretboards...but anyways you wont hear much difference in sounds in the budget you mentioned earlier...above 20k you will actually feel the difference...but anyways the guitar you purchased is not that bad...i havent played it but still it would be better than a givson and grason... ultimately your guitar skills will matter...
Chill buddy..U like your guitar or not??? IF not then u definitely have made a big mistake...If u do then there you go..Dont give a damn to what others have to say...Rather start learning and progress soon on Electric
Now that you have bought the guitar, do not bother about the price, Answer these questions to yourself 1) Are you comfortable fretting the guitar? Is the guitar easy to play on (In terms of the action - Space between the strings and the fret board?). 2) Is there a LOT of buzz when you play? Some buzz is ok at the beginning, you need to strengthen your fingers to ensure you are pushing the guitar strings to the fret board properly to avoid any buzz or dead notes. Please do not concentrate more on the price that you already paid and just try to ensure you are at a good seating position so your left and right hands do not feel pain and you should be able to get to all the frets with ease or little effort. If the answer is yes to the first 2 questions, just take the guitar to someone who can file the bridge saddle a little to bring down the action or set the neck curve to ensure it is low on action. You may also try to get lighter strings that will help with your playing. NOTE - I do not mean to confuse you, just something that I can relate to when i started out so trying to see if this can be of any help!!!! I am sure it would be better than the GB&A I had bought when I first started out, I still have it but its a pathetic guitar honestly. Relax and Enjoy your journey, and as i said above if you feel its tough to play on just get the things done by someone whom you know can do it.....If you live in Bangalore, I can do it for ya, done it for many friend' and to my guitars. btw i wanna share something with you...my friends wanted to buy a guitar.they were two of them.one took a gb&a and the other pluto...both were nice...but the pluto didnt have a good intonation and gb&a doesnt come with good strings...but overall i liked the gb&a because the guitars sound was more open...i really dont know how to explain that kinda sound...
