    Hi Guys,
Joined the forum today as I am gonna start learning guitar.
I am planning to buy an acoustic guitar between 3000 to 5000 rs.Heard a lot abt pluto guitars.
Should I go for it and what size should I buy- medium or full size(Jumbo).
    Please suggest?

JAYFRANKY its the same with me
but instead of waiting for the reply go to a shop and buy one
check the fretboard and bridge and peep through the hole
to make it more clear here is what you do take a givson and a granada look at the fret board and body you will understand
    and my personal opinion is
buy an acoustic first spend not more than 3500 and then buy an electric after you learn how to play
note the real comparison is between 1) pluto, granada first choice 2) hobner,gb&a,givson, jimm second choice

    also considering the budget constraints
here are some more things that you might need
tuner - my opinion you dont need one
picks- dunlop, fender whatever they are for free with every guitar
    strings- 70rs,200rs, 800rs dont buy
gig bag- the most important thing see we cant afford a hard case bag, so lets stick out with the soft one again it is of two types plain and with Styrofoam buy a styrofoam one
metronome- its good if you have one

note a tuner cum metronome device (electronic) is available for 500 i think so

Pluto, Granada and GB&A all are of the same league... Play all of the three and buy the one you find the most comfortable... Look out for any bends on the neck.. Check the action.. See if there's any buzz on any of the fret.. Don't forget to play all frets on all strings... Best of Luck !

    1. Granada
    then everything else
plutos and Gb&A's have less life compared to JIMM/J&D

Trust me.. i've played multiple models of all
You'll get yamaha F310 for 3500-4000 second hand... but u gotta hunt...
play every single string on every single fret to check fret buzz
also post queries in new/newer threads

    also buy a metrotuner
    metronome is vital for exercises..
and most new guitarists stop playing cause their guitar is out of tune and the do not know/ cannot bother to tune it so tuner comes in handy...
even later if you are performing in a noisy area you can check the tuning faster and more efficiently (also without the crowd coming to know :p)

gig bag, strap, plecks should be free with ur guitar
try to get book/strings as well as a part of the deal
else dont buy strings till u need them

well i purchased one and here are my experiences
    https://indianguitartabs.com/f14/granada-pluto-50580.html

read them and you might get an idea
but do check both of them granada and pluto

take a pick/plectrum or ask for one and play all the strings once playing with finger will not yield good sound

check the link i gave you granada and pluto https://indianguitartabs.com/f14/granada-pluto-50580.html its in beginners q and a

jumbo no its too large (for me it was) but it depends if you feel comfortable you can buy one

i went for a medium one

    and buzzing sound

here is what happens you should keep your finger just before the fret like this | O| | | | | ||| the O here is the finger if you keep your finger on the fret or too far away from the fret you get buzzing sound

yes buzzing sound also occurs due to defects in the neck

I have always liked the sound of Jumbo guitars. Fuller sound IMO...Price difference is hardly 1000 bucks...Go with Jumbo

if you want your guitar to last go for granada
either way check for warping and fret buzz also low action is preferable

    @indianvise
hows your new guitar doing mate?
