hey I'm actually in the US... bough a Lanikai LU-22 CFM--it's actually a Concert Uke...something I'm hoping I'll grow into!
thats great dude looks nice never really played an uke myself if you find good uke lessons online start a thread on them or forward the links to me...
Link... Ukulele Lessons from Uke School different levels based on your skill type...also have been looking at a whole lot of youtube videos
Bah, this thread is meaningless unless there are some clips posted. Even I can claim I just bought a Didgeridoo
Oh no! You caught me! Oh no! You totally caught me! I like to pretend like I bought an inexpensive uke and then join community forums! Ahhhh! But since you asked so nicely...I'll attach some pics of my dog, Sasha, and Lani, my uke. No clips of me yet, because (1) I'm not decently dressed, and (2) It takes me 20 minutes to play a bad version of Happy Birthday. Voila...
I like the name Lanikai better...sorta like Daniel-san from the Karate Kid. I also like your dog. Good luck with uke, I hope you can play this someday: Ukulele weeps by Jake Shimabukuro - YouTube
hey hie..i have a pluto acoustic...a quite newbie to guitaring...i hope ....i will reach heights to my passion: )
I was expecting something like this: Ukulele weeps by Jake Shimabukuro - YouTube No problem with dress - the more indecent - the better. Actually what is the open string tuning for Uk?
Holla back @ bjr...I've actually seen that guy's youtube video...loved his concert. I was originally thinking of trying out a dulcimer, but then fell in love with the sound of the uke. Lani is my pet name for my uke...I prefer to think I'm its student rather than it be mine, hence, I'm more of its Daniel-san and it's my Mr. Miyagi As far as tuning, I use an iPhone app... but if you google pineapple pete ukulele, it also gives instructions on how to tune when app-less or tuner-less @alpha...nice try...not what I meant...I was just sayin' I didn't like what I was wearing... @Morbid Angel...don't be fooled Have a great day everyone...now, back to an oldie but a goodie, one of my favorites... twinkle twinkle little star
