Ya ... i too heard Heartz for first time ... And from the information i got .. the store selling it is located somewhere in Kolkata..... and m gonna soon buy the LP custom Black ... The sound is good and the quality is also good
for 12k i would go with a pacifia 112 dont buy stuff without knowing what wood is used in it i have seen lp's made out of basswood i mean wtf!!!
Ya listing the woods would be helpful, but even then there is no guarantee because even the famous brands like Epiphone are basically selling plywood in the name of mahogany in their Les Paul Special II's and other bottom of the line guitars i wouldnt be surprised if the wood of the guitar is not upto the mark after all QC costs money.
If you are simply comparing LP vs SG, keep in mind that the tones are a bit different. SG is not as bottom heavy as LP. It has a more open airy tone, with good nasal mids. LP is also a lot heavier and unforgiving on your back for long gigs, especially if you are a skinny dude. Personally, LP pretty much owns when it come to looks though. Also, SGs tend to be neck heavy so make sure you are okay with the balance of the guitar before buying it. SGs are awesome when it comes to playability otherwise.
it seems both have them have same pickups and electronics so choose the one which looks cool to you...i would have chosen a les paul but not black may be cherry sunburst or vintage sunburst...but then you may also go with sg's ...they will have an easier higher fret access as compared to les paul and will also be lighter...ultimately its you who gonna play and not us...i told the difference ...now take the money with you and try them which one is more comfortable...both have the same electronics so you dont have to worry much
