pedal advice

hey guys
i am willing to buy a new pedal
i normally play heavy metal, speed metal stuff
i already have a boss metal zone(mt-2)
now i convinced my parents to buy me a pedal for my bday
what i am confused about is which type of pedal should i buy
please reply to help me

IMO you shud get a Delay pedal..

Delay is certainly a pedal one shud have in a setup.

You can try out delay pedal which wud giv u different delay effects.

How often have you felt the need of adding delay to the notes while playing Heavy metal or Speed Metal chuggy rhythms?????????

 

u see i wud be coming to mumbai in my winter holidays so i may try there

Well u shud have taken money for ur School trip and gone to ur friends place and stayed over there...lol...Next time onwards look for opportunities to save money for ur gear

 

they dont allow me to go anywhere on my own
they dont allow me to use my money for myself
this is s**t man
my parents are all huge liars
they dont fix my pc to ensure i dont play games
they dont promote my guitar playing
and still say entertainment is important in life

 

your age kid? and dump the mt2 tried it once with a super shit dean amp sounded crap
and if you get 15k save 7k more get a pod hd300 +shenhiser hd208 headphones it will give you a sound million times better than a decent dist pedal into a mg/spider/stranger imo
also pls post the list of current gear that you own

i dont get those 15k but mt-2 sounds good wid my amp
no problem wid it

bcoz my parents wud never buy me anythin good
guitar:- Java Eg-11 Standard strat
amp:- Laney LX-12
pedal:- Metal zone Boss
u see i dont have anything good not contented wid it
but still i wont giveup on guitar playin

 

^you will find it cheesey when you try better stuff ok if you cant get 15k how much can you get?

 

strat is for blues!!!! you cant do metal with it and all parents are the same whats the max you can shell out?

 

i knw it is for blues but i had no choice they were not going to get me anything better( as it was the cheapest 6k)
so i had to take it as i needed an electric
i cant even shell out even 1 k

nd when i ask the reason they say "when we are here y do u need to spend ur own money"

get yourself kidnapped ask em to shell out money on phone get the money and buy some decent gear
