    What's up, IGT!

Sidetracked by professional commitments, tough times are passed and I'm planning to get back to my guitar...

Budget is higher, requirements are changed, so hear me out. I've moved to a new place where single coils hum is pretty noticeable, dunno what it is about the lines here, so not planning to buy any P-90s or single coils, gonna stick to humbuckers...

    Requirements
    Budget: Upto 30K
Music style: Indie\Alternative rock, folk, some blues
Bridge: Hardtail or vintage. No floating bridges
    Pickups: Humbuckers

Current gear is listed below... Some recommendations please... Thanks

I think you should look out for a PRS or Epiphone in this budget. Or add another 20k and get a Gibson SG :)

Hum needn't be a reason to switch to humbuckers. If you like the single coil tone, I would recommend that you stick to single coil guitars and get noiseless single coil pickups instead.

If your place has tubelights try turning them off and see if that makes a difference, try plugging in to different sockets in the house, maybe there's something up with the shielding in your guitar? If you are using pedals, their power source could be a source of hum, or the pedal itself.
Yeah, but hum is like the most complicated thing ever!
I think if your middle pickup is reverse wound, reverse polarity, you can drastically reduce hum play in pick up position 2 and 4(I think, not sure at all).
As mentioned, you could try noiseless pickups (though I've never like the sound of them).

Since furtado's now has epiphone stuff, and if you don't mind semi-hollow bodies, the dot series is in budget for you. or trusty old Les Paul (hate em though), or maybe you can score a mexican fat strat for that much. If you/ someone you know is going abroad, you can try the fender blacktop series (jaguars, jazzmasters and i think teles with humbuckers), or the pawn shop series, though both of these might be slightly over budget. It all depends more on what kind of stuff your looking play.
