The mg15cdr has a couple of issues though. The speaker is a little scratchy and the volume pot on the dirty channel is a little troublesome. If it's for practice only, then it's fine but if you intend to gig with it, I'd advice against it. :)

And why do you want a marshall huh just because they are marshalls dosent make them good the marshalls which you generally see in music videos are generally jcm 800 and 900 and sometimes plexis
    jcm's cost over 1 lakh
    and plexis over 2.5 lakh
    NOOB

TBH I got the Marshall 10W as a gift and I dont really care much for the sound coz its more of a personal practice amp - as long as I can hear notes it's fine.
For band practice I play off a transparent Power Amp since most of my sound comes from my SansAmp and all I need is transparent volume.

I agree with deepsal in saying that lower end Marshalls are really not worth it. I dont have much exp with Peaveys but I can recommend Laneys they are really worth the price. If you want the amp for personal practice, you can go for a Marshall. If you want it for band practice, I advise against the Marshalls. Many other cheaper and better amps for that.

What's your gear? Pedals / Processor / Amp modelers?
    All of the above?

@deepsal - you just sound angry. So what if the guy likes Marshalls? Calling him a noob is uncalled for. You make a good and fair point in what you say but you could be nice about it. Just saying... I agree with all that you said tho.

To be honest I actually enjoy playing on my friend's MG10, it sounds a little different from my amp, a little interesting. That said I'd never buy it- it doesn't deliver better sound quality than modelling amps- the cost difference isn't much.
