how to use amplitube 2 !! :'(

ppl...ihv got an amp nd a guitar..bt i saw alot of options in amplitube..i downloaded amplitube 2..nd when they asked to type the code..there was smthing like the "theta" how do we type dat huh?? neways..even after that...the amplitube came...i plugged in my guitar..bt what??nothing happened??do i dnt know something that i need to know?? ..tell me please..im very eager to use amplitube.. ...it has everything..

 

ok..done with the connection...but when im playing it gives a buzzz in after a while..

 

aarggh!! help me .. this noise is irritating.. ..nd i can see the input bar dance when play my guitar..bt changing the amp setting has no effects..:/..im not getting the output..nd there is a irritating buzz after few seconds...like fzzzzzzzz .. sick..

 

I guess turning the noise gate knob to the max might help.. to an extent.. You must be using some crappy cables.. they may induce some noise and hisss sound as well..

 

We need to know his interface first >_>

Dude, it really sounds like you're just using a 1/4" to 3.5mm converter into your default sound card.

 

U need a USB interface with ASIO driver to get clean sound.

Lack of an interface is what is causing your problem. Because it happened to me too, and I too came out looking equally stupid back then.

(now if only guitars could work well with PCs without need of buying upgrades/peripherals to the PC...amp and pedal sales would take a major hit, MIDI footswitches and pedals would sell like hot cakes, yada yada yada)

 

hey man.. I had had the similar problem a while back when trying to record my vamp2 output to the Goldwave. And it wuz a very petty little solution which i did n solved my problem. I had set my recording level to max but the sound level indicator just wont move..

I wuz about to give up my recording feat when i happened to find that my Noise Reduction option wuz checked. N after i disengaged it ...ah, i could hear the most wanted sound in the recording software.

Nywaz i had the software soundMax and in the Peferences>Microphone Tab>Noise Reduction i had the setting...i dont know what software u have on your computer but be assured that its noise reduction setting is turned off!
