This is about life in the sea. It might be away from people, but its also away from the everyday hassles of life, from meaningful people. Sometimes its beautiful outside, the weather, and sometimes its hell, thunderstorms, waves. But a life at sea, is a life at sea. Maybe that's why its said: One who becomes a shippie, can't become anything else. Enjoy! And do comment ! In verses of anger and sorrow, times of desperation written away. Nothing is lost, as nothing I had, and none to gain today. In a land flowing deep and true, so far from the watching eyes; The day's a lie of freedom, and pure is the nightly sky. Under my moving shelter, I look at the liquid blue. Sometimes I miss those I left behind, somewhere on the other side of you; When you rain your anger on me, when you shine under the fiery gleams, when you swell on me, shake me, wake me up through my dreams. The days pass by and life goes on, and everyday you seem coming close to me. nothing to gain, nothing to lose, for I am one who belongs to the sea.
Great lines... you really are the best here, no doubt! reps, if I can!! Keep writin', seein' yer poems after a long while!?
Super cool. I wish I was a sailor too. What do you work as onboard?? Deck / Engine? This is really a great poem... cheers dude... you are marvellous as always... keep writing!
Count yourself as a blessed one ... if you have an iota of intelligence and intellect - you would realize and in fact feel suffocated living amongst vast hordes of idiotic humans, and unfortunately following their customs and traditions, just because they are in majority - and they expect you to behave and act that ways. Stupid herd.
totally agreed to that. Exactly my feeling. sometimes i feel like running away to solitude.. the more i'm being with people the more misanthropic i'm becoming. @Horsesmouth: Well written stuff dude.
I agree.. Totally! Despite the fact that I've to work half my life with people I've never known. Some of them are moronic back biters. I like the good part of that life though! @rikkyrich thanks dude! @sukriti I can't say i don't like that or not... Lets say I've putup the good parts together.
