which acoustic guitar to buy budget 5k

hii there everybody
i'm looking forward to buy an acoustic guitar in the range upto 5k
i already own a hobner jumbo guitar but i'm nt satisfied wid the sound.
i hv seen grenada,jimm,pluto guitars and they sound and look really good, but hv heard that life of chinese guitars isn't much.so i'm all the more much confused.
please guide me as to which guitar i should purchase?

 

Put in 1.5k more and buy the Yamaha F310.

(I don't really know that much about acoustic guitars...probably because I never played a steel string that much.)

If in Delhi, I'd also recommend going to Bhargavas...all other places don't really have a wide selection. OnStage Lajpat, for instance, is FULL of Corts, and I think all are the same model >.<

 

there won't be any significant difference in quality up to 5k, i think. add 2-3k more and you might get something which is clearly different...

 

^What would you recommend, for instance, out of Bajaao's selection?
(A few RL noobs/starters want me to help them buy one, and they keep asking me for how much a beginners' steel string acoustic will cost, I've no idea what to say. Halp. >_>)

 

The Takamine or Ibanez V72, from what I could see on Bajaao. Although I don't see why you shouldn't spend close to as much as you would on an electric. There are nice Ovations Fenders and Takamines around 15k.

 

+1, but those noobs probably wont when they see a Givson going for 3 or 4, hence the question. xD But then again, I guess...

 

then please suggest me the model names in acoustic guitars which are good near 5 to 6k range...

hey i m a begginer and dont knw much about buying a perfect guitar for i need a guitar a acoustic one....
i m totally confused should i go for givson or for GB&a or anything else i have my budget for around 4k's...
i knw its not possible to find a very good one but as i m a beginner i need a basic but gud guitar under 4k plz help..

Don't buy Givson. I'd say save up a little more and buy the Yamaha F310.

hii there...if u are willing to spend 5k for a guitar, try washburn ..they r gr8 guitars...u can spot a OG2 for around 5k...its a gr8 guitar in that price range...i think u will get a Washburn WD10 (all wood, voted best guitar under $500)for abt 7k...for price range below 10-15k its hard to find non chinese guitars bro.

 

hey guys i m new to igt and just love this site and really respect its members for giving valuable tips....i ve been playing guitar arnd 5yrs and own a crappy ebanez f hole acoustic guitar i repeat 'e'banez...actually my sister couldnt make out the diff. Btwn a hawain and spanish so she brought a givson hawain and later while exchanging the hawaiin guitar she was givn a cheapo ebanez guitar...gosh my fingers got swollen ..i also own digitech rp90, cort x2vnfr damn gud axe...was thinking of buying an ibanez grg 170dx bt later changed my mind coz of its floating trem. Problem..had to buy a cheap zar 10w amp..bt its nt that bad it was got overdrive in it..

yamaha f310,ibanez v70,ijv50,epiphone pr-150,epi dr 100,jasmine s35...if u knw any other good guitars then let me knw...guitar should have a good fingerboard..lyk esp electric guitars,maple neck,spruce top..and a good balance of both bass and treble...i play jazz,punk,mariachi
