Frankly speaking, it's insane looking for vocal jazz sheets on the Internet. -Everyone wants fake books or instrumental jazz anyway -Because most people are least bothered with vocal jazz now -And because it's not 2030~2060 and a lot of copyrights haven't expired yet So far, I've heard - Gershwin's Summertime (I didn't know it was originally a vocal piece, I had only heard it in instrumental flavors so far), a bit of Ella Fitzgerald (she sings well, but too much vibrato for my taste), and some Louis Armstrong (his voice took a bit of getting used to, but nice). Sure, I'll give it a go. I must say though, -quite a bit of crazy chords in there, and I struggled with transcribing Watermelon Man (solo piano version), so give it a week or so. -I'm not experienced with chord progressions, I'll simply transcribe the whole song (GP5) for you. Go as little or as deep as you wish xD
i think it'S against the very nature of jazz to have sheet music for vocal jazz. i'd pick up on the progressions, play along and improvise. unless you want to sound like one of those "...plays the classics on guitar" type hacks. which is not my cup of tea, at least.

@flood - Wow, that's a nice rhythm there! Totally made my day. Writing sheet music comes easier to me, I can compose (2- and 3-part compositions ^^), but not improvise, over a chord progression. I guess I need to up my level and take some training in jazz before I tackle jazz playing. I'm mostly interested in learning improvisation the polyphonic way (or as jazz-people call it, 'chord melody'; it's anal how they don't teach improvisation in classical, and improv everywhere else means 'mindless lead-shredding over a loop'), learning how to apply theory on the go, and of course the new style of music that it is. I always thought that one bad thing about guitar is that when you're using the 1st (LH) finger to barre for a bass note, you are left with only 3 fingers to play the other parts, but this totally eliminates the problem! Add in the little finger on the right hand (already done by so many players), and the stage is set for utilizing all 10 fingers on the guitar. @alexis - Thanks, I had seen his videos before, but never knew his name, lol.
