BE3 Amplifiers. Guy's in Mumbai. From https://www.guruamplifiers.com/Roy on Guru.html So I guess you can have a word with Roy/Erisa too.
BE3 makes a nice copy of the earcandy cab, from what i've been told, but be prepared for a possibly long wait. as far as i know, ansar has a ton of orders to take care of. erisa does some mindblowing cabs. a friend showed me a pic of a hardwood oil-finished cab, fantastic stuff. they will definitely sound very different though, because hardwoods have resonance characteristics that are very different from plywood or MDF, which are essentially "dead" woods and do not add their "own" sound. so if you're looking to play metal, erisa is not really suitable for you. they'd probably make for some superbly bitching blues cabs though. also, erisa isn't too cheap from what i know. if you can read a technical drawing and have a carpenter who can do good work, i'm pretty sure you can get one made yourself. that's how i did my 1x12s. be prepared to do some research though.
thanks guys i mailed the BEamplifiers guy...he has sent me a quote.. @flood...have u played on any of their cabs?i play heavy most of the time...u think a 1X12 wit celestion 'hot 100'..is it enough to play wit a drummer..?
the amp is the deciding factor, not the cab. the hot 100 will be able to push 100W nominally, but if you have a 10W amp pushing it, it's pointless. an 18W tube amp should usually be enough for jams with a drummer. i've never played ansar's cabs or amps. i can't use a 4x12 at home, two 1x12s are more than i can handle anyway.
^and wat are your opinions on the tonal qualities of the speaker..i mean i couldn find any reviews...
hes talking about the hot 100, i think. i've never played them, so google is your friend. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=511438 https://www.harmonycentral.com/products/62151 sounds like they would be best for playing metal. not my cup of tea.
Me too never played hot 100, but if google is your friend, try getting acquainted with YouTube for some time, make use of it and you'll be just fine!
