If you want, you can go for a tube amp. In your price range, the best bet would be Laney Cub 10(10Watt all tube amp) for 12.5k. Or if you can wait till September this year, another version, Laney Cub 12 (15Watt all tube amp), for appx 16k, will be introduced in India.

Do consider them before making any final decision.

    Cheers.

you can always go for line 6 amps...ironman12 sucks balls...so he's not interested in good things like these amps!!

LINE 6 Spider series is said to be craptastic and digital...in reviews. Personally, I've never played any, so no comments.
(and a tonally inexperienced person's review doesn't count, you won't know what's bad about it till you've played/heard better ones and till your ear is developed enough.).

    OP
    WHAT GENRE U PLAY?
Oh wait, probably won't matter that much at this price range, you don't have too many good options in it. ;p

    General answers
#1, best option - BE3 Brat https://www.be3amplifiers.com/BE3 Brat.html (I think he actually updated that today, or in the past one or two days!). Check out the site for more details, I doubt you'd get anything better for your money.
You can also try PMing flood to make a cheap custom made one for you...however, I doubt that it'd be as cheap as 15k.
#2. Try Laney Cub 8/10, Vox AC4TV. I'm waiting for the Cub 12 too xD
#3. Average Joes - Roland Cube series, Peavy Vypyr, Peavy Bandit.
#4. You can buy my stuff as well. I'm selling a Digitech RP300A processor and a Marshall MG10 for a total of 10k. https://indianguitartabs.com/showthread.php?t=44477

sorry, don't have the setup he has, so i can't match ansar's prices. i have done an amp in that range but there was no speaker or head cab included - fantastic amp, nonetheless.

ansar has put in a lot of money, time and energy into his amps and i'd be happy to see him get more business, i don't do amps n stuff full time yet. he has great pricing too. give the guy a call. i STILL haven't played BE3 amps, but i will soon.

try the roland cube its far better than line 6...and the peavey is better than both of them...im telling u i was totally blown away by the tones u can achieve from the peavey vypyr....u can get it from Bajaao....of if yr in delhi,u can demo them at BHARGAVAS...i played them along side line 6...believe me once u learn a thing or 2 bout guitar playin u'll hate the line 6...its thin,fuzzy...n worst of all v v digital...

    my vote:
    1.peavey vypyr
    2.Roland cube..

    best budget amps out thr...

^Dude, a tube amp still knocks them both, I'm sure you'll agree as a tube user yourself - let there be tube (good) amps ;)

^ofcourse...these wouldnt match against tube amps...but for a beginner(or semi intermidiate) i think these are awesome amps...n more over wit a 5 watt tube amp i don think he could hold up wit a drummer...he'd need 30w atleast..

btw:guys in trivum made a whole instructional dvd on the peavey vypyr..its tht good..chk some reviews if u want...

and 1 more thing:recently i played the laney gh100l at furtados...its the best amp i have played yet..jus awesome gain..n punch..n its the amp paul gilbert used for most of his playin days..its a pity v guitar player don have access to good equipment...damm the customs..

    Wtf.
    1. i. The internet is full of rough sum ups like that. And I've no idea on what's accurate. Some say a 10 watt amp through a 2x12 cab is louder than the same amp through a 1x12 cab, others say the speaker specs play a role as well (so volume will vary between speaker models). I myself decided I'd just hear the amps and different speakers and configurations in person before I buy mine.

ii. Are you talking strictly clean, crunch, or overdrive? ANY tube amp's distortion will be louder than the cleans -
    a. you need to crank it up (distortion is always beyond an amp's rated wattage, I think; I may be wrong) to get distortion, and b. the added harmonic content of distortion may also have something to do with that. -.-
So a Laney Cub 10's cleans are definitely not loud enough for a drummer (played it myself). But if you're using it for rock or metal - implying that you're using crunch/overdrive all the time, I'd say it'll do fairly well.

    2. We don't even know what the OP wants to do. The BE3 Brat and Laney Cub 8/10 will do him good if he's interested in low volume bedroom practice or for a drummerless band.

If it's mic'd performance, anything would do, even a small amp (Brat/Cub). No idea what one is supposed to do in the practice scenario with such an amp, though.

If it's unmic'd live performing, he should increase his budget ;p

(Feel free to correct anything wrong I may have said. I'm not exactly a pro on this topic.)

Clearly i think v r goin into a lot of detail which obviously doesnt interest this guy...
the fact he was considerin line6 and vox...meant tht he want an amp which could a lot of things(as they are modelling amps..i.e.eliminating need of a processor) rather than one trick ponies..thts y i suggested peavey vypyr coz its the best out there for modelling...

regarding the speakers i don think volume depends on them...its the breakup point...lower wattage speakers will breakup early...adding lil dirt n colour to the tone(which can be a love hate situation)..
and a 100w amp pushing a 25w speaker will obviously damage it...so handling capacity does matter

thts all i know...don no if im right though....flood will have to come in..

1x12" speaker producing sound vs 2x12" speakers producing sound is more about fullness of sound rather than actual volume. At its maximum output an amp can't magically produce power to drive another speaker if it's already driving one fully.

    He's talking about strictly clean.

    @thehundredthone - Hm...true.

@OP - If you're truly after a versatile setup, then ignore my recommendations above. Those are - as stated by others - more 'specialized', less versatile. Go for my processor and amp, it's cheap for your budget, everything's in a perfect working state, and should last you long (I moved from versatile to specialized, lol).
