in a mere budget of 10K u will get only givson, java, aria guitars, which if u ask me are no good. Or u might end up getting a cheap strat which is not good for rock.
I am selling my ESP LTD AX-50 worth rs19,500 for rs10,500. ESP guitars are used by top guitarists of the world. U can chk ESP's website. This is a gud guitar in good condition. It has got authentic ESP pickups which are high output humbuckers. Chk my other post for details.

Hi Taran !! In this range (10k) it is not possible to get a gud guitar....I personally, made a survey of the guitars and found out that Ibanez has a low price edition named GIO which are Made in China (no doubt they great stuff). ESP is really nice but costly, Fender is not suitable for Hard rock and Whammy techniques an the list goes on....

Well, in 10k, only Ibanez GRX 20, JAVA can fit. Now, I have an offer for u....I have an Ibanez GRG 150 who's market price is around Rs. 12000....This guitar is only used for 1 yr. I give u the offer of Rs. 8000.

Check out the guitar pics on:

    10-8.5 = 1.5k

In 10k there's not a lot of options when it comes even to half-decent guitars... Try increasing your budget slightly (make it 12-13K) and you'll have a lot more guitars to choose from.

HMI used to make (not sure if they still do) low / mid-range Fender / Jackson guitars. It looks like they have revamped and trying to enter the market. They have guitars ranging from 7k - 24k and are also distributors of Seymour Duncan pickups in India.
