    ^That.
You have a decent setup. That guitar could be a lot worse, like a GRG, but it seems nice! Amp, just see mine. Processor, see mine. You seem to have a good head on your cab- err, shoulders, too...

...Join a band and then take to the stage/hit the road.

And if you can't find a band, get a semi-decent laptop, learn to use Reason, Ableton and Cubase, make your backing tracks or improviseable live sets (Ableton ftw) and take to the stage/hit the road.

Upload your/your band's videos to YouTube (good quality, well recorded ones, not the generic jackshit), show it off on CDs to event managers in your city (Hard Rock Cafe, Cafe Morrison and other patronizing pubs/bars/inns particularly). If you're good, you'll soon be doing shows all over @_@

The years ahead will hum and buzz with promise...

It's the only lifestyle WORTH LIVING.

    How cool is that? xD

@ultrabot: that look like a decent advice to me.. and my guitar is way better than the GRGs.. jus take my word for that..

and i don have a band yet.. but i seek one.. i'm into death metal /metalcore kinda stuff.. i mostly find ppl listening to greenday kinda sh*t.. and maybe i'm not dedicated enough to give enough time to my guitar playing.. but i will surely perform a metal gig before i die.. that much i can assure..

...and look at Radius_Vector of freq20 for an example. Metal, he plays guitar, and does other instruments on the computer, and then does the mixing and mastering himself. One man band was never this easy, I like that.

I must say though... there are WAY too many people who do metal. I'm almost tempted to say "People, move on, ffs. Go beyond."...but that's my job.

    Ciao

i know many people do metal but it depends on individual's choice.. u choose CG and i choose metal playing... i'm not amongst those who started listening to metal in college.. then when they get older they move to some blues kinds sh*t and say that they moved on or in other words *grew up*..I'm gonna follow metal till i fcukin die..

..and ya that one man band thing is very appealing but i'm still struggling with cubase 5 and EZDrummer thing.. not able to do it properly still.. :(

    Eh...

Try basic MIDI sequencing in Ableton...all DAWs have different interfaces, one may suit you more than the other. Check out Reason if you just want a rigidly linear backing track, Ableton will let you change between clips and allow for live improvisation, making it more like an instrument in itself and less like a computer backing track.

And you can run Reason as Ableton's ReWire slave, meaning Reason's superb sonic possibilities combined with Ableton's live-performance-oriented features.

    Off topic much.
