I've been connecting my roland cube 15x via the aux input to my xbox 360 coz my tv is damn old and the speakers suck. the sound is awesome through the amp, but I'm wondering will regular use screw up the amp? is it safe? should i continue using it like this ? or should I hang upside down from a tree and do crunches?

It shouldn't be a problem if the amp is well built. But i dont know if the rolan speakers are built for full range sound.

Does it really sound good? If I connect my Ipod to my Cube 15x, the sound isn't that great... Just acceptable for playing along I'd say.

Rather I'd say buy 2.0 or 2.1 speakers according to your budget and needs... Especially while gaming stereo is a much better bet than just one. Really adds an extra dimension to your gameplay. Directional sound is better than a single source. Even two cheap speakers will be better than just a single amp in that sense.

5.1 is even better if you can afford it.

i think your cube sucks, your xbox sucks and you suck too. you need a PS3 and need to connect it to a marshall all-tube fullstack but you bought yourself a ****ing gameboy instead. good job, douche.
