I don't think it would be advisable to spam with pictures as well , as it is IGT is heavily spammed with posts.

 

some mod pls,. close this thread - its waste of space - besides this kinda stuff leaves less place for other things which oguht to be there.

What's on the floor? What bass is that on the bed?

 

on the floor: Fernandes Revolver Pro 7, 7 string with sustainer. discontinued about a year or two after it released, so i'm really happy to own one. needs some work.... pulling out the licensed FR assembly and putting an OFR in there, if the routing permits. there's a seymour duncan JB in the bridge. killswitch installed but going to be swapped for something else... still figuring out what though. some truss rod adjustment needed too which is stupid, cause access is prretty much impossible without taking the neck off. oh well. i love this one to death otherwise.

the bass is a cheapshit 6 i picked up at musikmesse a few years ago. made by a company called kimaxe (i actually thought yours was a kimaxe too for some reason). it used to play like a dream, but that only lasted as long as i lived in germany. came to bombay and wham, the neck is twisted on the low B side. planning to pick up a sterling by music man SR4 some time, and then perhaps bid this one adieu. pickups are some shite korean ones, i pulled the stock electronics, installed a vintage MM-style preamp and shielded the hell out of everything. it's quiet now but playability is an issue.

the fretless project strat is still with alberto, till i get new parts...

ok, confession time: the LP trad desert burst and the strat aren't mine. these are pics from the recording orgy i had a few weeks ago; i build amps (you can see a bit of the plexi in the lower edge of the pic) and had a friend over to play them. here are the results: https://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=1046495&content=music

short term plan is to upgrade pups and hardware on the RG till i can afford an MIA (or seriously pimped out MIM, or warmoth, or any other good strat-builder) strat, also buy the stingray a year or two down the line. will probably dump the RG, but who knows. would be nice to have around for metchul and open tunings.

I've tried out a few Fernandes guitars but not that one, heard good things though. I currently use a set of Seymour Duncan Distortions (Ibanez RG 7620) and D-Activators (Ibanez 7420) on my 7s and to be honest they're my favorite pickups.

My bass is a six string Japanese Tune( not the Korean one) and it came with a set of Bartolinis but I'm not sure which ones.

 

damn, tunes are fine instruments indeed. i had seen that body shape before but couldnt place it. you're definitely a DT fan.... ?
