If you want to buy only guitar in 15k, you can look @ yamaha pacifica 112J.

If you want to buy guitar plus amp in 15k, you can look @ yamaha pacifica 012 + Marshall MG10 (10 watt) amp.

Im also on a lookout for an electric guitar + amp, just that my budget is a bit more than you, hence a lot of confusion..lol...

Good luck on your guitar search.

    Cheers.

    AV3 is ok.
THunderstruck, Bajaao had an offer on AV6 which was being offered for 19K. Just check if they still have that. Don't go for the Viper50.

amp is the sound of ur guitar.. better go for a decent amp.. spend 2k more and get roland cube 15X.. it's worth spending.. or if u're v low on cash try finding an used one..

since how long u r palying guitar.if itz more than 3 yrs nd u r pritty much comfortable with the leadings...nd bare chords.then only u go 4 electronic guitar.or i suggest u u go nd take a good semi electronic guitars like yamahaa or jimm nd practise 4 good leadings.......and after u r done with with all that..u can go 4 GIBSON [not giveson} or yamaha

    KEEP ROCKIN

3 years? What a joke. You are a really really slow learner if you need three years to graduate from an acoustic to an electric.

Actually graduate is a poor choice of term, an electric and an acoustic have a different sounds and in some aspects an electric may even be good for a beginner who wants to develop as a rock or metal guitarist. It's a personal preference.
