i am looking for a hard case for a jazzmaster - it is similar to a fender jaguar in shape.

and it is longer than a stratocaster.

if anybody knows of a case which will fit the shape and length and where i can find it in india, i would appreciate the input.

You might be able to get it custom made, I think.

Or just go and ask a good music shop (Perhaps Bhargava's/Bhatia's/On Stage/Bharat if you're in Delhi?).

aha! a jazzmaster! how indie are you, dude?

that totally rocks. love that guitar. finally get to see someone on an indian board not tlaking about a BC rich or a flying V or any generic pointy poser hair metal axe that i'd destroy on general principle.

    congrats and happy playing :nw:

well mine is not a fender jazzmaster. it is a customized warmoth jazzmaster - with p90s, ,a 24 3/4 gibson scale neck, swamp ash body and a brazilian rosewood fretboard. all the rest of the features is the same as a regular jm. but i don't play indie - i play blues and blues rock! but i have to say that the jazzmaster body is easily the most comfortable body i have ever played. fantastic feel.

well even in the usa, for one it is more expensive than the regular strats, teles etc.

also it has the reputation of being a "surf" guitar. so that kept most of the rock crowd away.

also its "floating tremolo" system and lack of sustain is not really suited for rock. unless you do certain mods (which i have done).

mine is super ***y man! :)

while i'm sure it does fine for blues, the jazzmaster is THE guitar for shoegaze and some indie... however, P90s aren't identical to jazzmaster pickups.

i'd love to own a JM someday, just for making more feedback and noise oriented stuff.

    ok let me be nice

    check this :

    https://cgi.ebay.com/Warmoth-used-J...emQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item1c106ad510

if you can get this within 200, you got a great deal at like 50% of the price.

then you can get the pickups and neck (any strat neck will intonate on a jazzmaster body) for like another $200 to $300.

so that is a great jm for like 25k rupees.

Then all i need is some gay singing skills and a million pedals, and i'd be kevin shields.
