I think you could take it furtados or something. Maybe they would be able to display it or something for a commission.
@freako My advice is don't sell it. Instead try to learn playing it. Its not that hard as you think it is.
ok mr flood, now i got serial, it is F08593XX,wrote XX for last two numbrs, for securty purpose, hop this helps you
thanks, just wanted to verify the year of production. 2008 it is, fujigen factory. i'm going to pass on this cause i'm not really an ibanez person (the RG is a temporary solution) and would rather buy an american standard strat or jazzmaster or something. good luck with your sale.
dear alpha, wat is clubing with superb mean, plz explan,i don know guitar & its langage. anbody want to make a deal for this
@freako2010 just do one thing, contact with any renowned instrument shop, offer them to sell ur guitar via their shop, on the basis of sum commission........... But, remember, u got a guitar, which is usually suites the "guitar gods"...................... So, Plzzzzzzzzz don't sell the guitar below 1 lac........... I don't want any novish to have a hand around on this mean-machine............. Or u can defragmanted this guitar(really not possible 4 a guitarist), n sell the separated parts(like- pick-up, bridge, head-gears, fret board, strigs, electricals etc).............. Then u could found sum buyers here............. B'coz , practically u r not going 2 find any customer 4 ur JEM in IGT........... That's 4 sure............... N finally, HOW LUCKY U R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so ugly. But that's ok, 'cause so are you. we've broke our mirrors....................."
the first part of rDmajor's advise is actually sensible. the second part, like his typing and orthography, is atrocious. DO NOT DISMANTLE A PERFECTLY USABLE JEM - you're killing it's value, and the likelihood of someone here wanting to piece it together or mix and match with their RGs and GRGs and GIOs is very small. putting a JEM neck on a GIO will not give you a good guitar! maintain the guitar and sell it in one piece. another bit of advice - if you don't find a buyer quick enough, make sure you show the guitar to a GOOD luthier once a year just to make sure that there is no neck warping etc., especially if you live in bombay. also, keep it at a temperature that doesn't swing too wildly, and in a dry place. do not give this guitar to a moron to repair - i must remind you that you possess a fairly expensive, high-quality instrument - don't trust just about everyone with it. finding a buyer WILL be hard, but i'm sure someone will eventually pick it up for the 65k you're asking. people with that kind of money usually don't hang around on IGT though - try starting a thread in the trade areas of international forums like ultimate guitar, harmony central, the ibanez forums, the gear page (no registration allowed from free email providers - use your work email) and jemsite.com - put "(INDIA)" in the thread topic. who knows, you may just get lucky.
U R right flood............ Sorry for the "atrocious" (nice vocabulary dude!!)advice............... @freako2010, u better follow flood's advice........that's d best option 4 u......... N finally, HOW LUCKY U R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (again) "I'm on the highway to hell......................................"
hahahahha..i haven't logged into my account in months...but boy are you guys lucky. That jem is a fake..lol...some cheap chinese shit..ahahhaah..look at the bridge, its a dead giveaway. He says that the serial number is f08...jem's manufactured then had an edge pro bridge n that is not an edge pro.. I know cuz i have an rg2570 ' Right from the point of his acting as though he knows nothing about the guitar, you people should have been suspicious..lol..good try though...but stop with the scams.
the headstock also is totally messed up...ALL CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY...the nerve of the guy to ask for 65k for this piece of shit...What happened to the gear gurus in IGT
even if they don't care about them...they ought to make sure people don't get scammed... and we aint talking hundreds here... we are talking thousands of rupees... on a side note.. if anybody's looking into getting a tonelab le ...I can give you some recorded samples
