The Pakis are definitely more creative. Take Jal and EP for example.

ya as far as music is concerned Indians are more into copying than actual creativity..

those who ...r doing r pushed to do so much in a short span that they kinda go dry...
and those who want to come up from ground get very less so cant survive

Again i feel with in some 5 years or so we will see expriements and new corns pop

actually its lack of neither creatvity nor ignorance in INDIANS....but there is a big lack of interest in Indians....most of the indians only tend to like bollywood music.....or let me name the latest trend...f**kn HIP HOP....they have forgotten...or shud i say never took interest in ROCK ...the original sense of music......

By d way....M a die hard rock fan...although not the metal guy...still i wud love to know about the underground metal bands or communities...

u sell weed?? I am up!! can I have some???

Awryt, m putting up a list of the bands that've impressed me off lately:
Inner sanctum : won GIR 2009, opened fr amon amarth n textures at deccan rock fest, released an ep- provenance, just 4 songs, but mindblowing.
    .
Sreedharan's solo project : i guess he's famous enough, listen to his earlier album 'transcend' n the new released tracks- melakartha
    .
Rabbit is rich : funny name, tight band. Listen to their track - kaboom.
    .
Kryptos- probably the most famous metal act from india. they r going for an European invasion tour in 2010, n an album coming soon.
    .
Demonic Ressurection - my favourites, their 3rd album 'return to darkness' releasing on 15th jan. book yr copies, i've booked mine.
N yes, they too going to europe in 2010 fr a few fests with biggies like cannibal corpse.

Bhayanak maut - released the self titled album in 2009. Awesome production n packaging, at par with the best of international productions.
    .
Workshop - 'ho gaya sandas ho gaya sandas' hope evrybdy has heard it. so now there's a genre called 'comedy metal'. Released debut album - khooni murga. Working on another album nw.
    .
Reverrse polarity - evrybdy knows them by nw.
    .
The circus - they were on launchpad too, released 'first cut'.
    Working on 'from space'
    .
Undying inc. - membraneous, breeding gods were their good tracks released in 2009
    .
Scribe- old band, new tracks- lullabye, mastibhari muskan
    .
eccentric pendulum: nice band, released debut ep- sculptor of negative emotions. They r yet to carve their space in the crowded scene but i think i can safely bet on them.
    .
N if u hvnt, listen to the older works by AVR, amogh symphony, FtN, bitchslap, exhumation... Do it nw.

There was Resurrection fest in kyra, banglore, 1 or 2 days back where demonic ressurection, infernal wrath n abandoned agony played. DR were promoting their album. U missed it....
N yes its a shame that DNA networks have booked backstreet boys for this year's Rock in India fest. They r also planning to name it FRock in india. At a stage where, iron maiden n megadeth played in previous events, a dead pop band will sing. Black day for rock n metal. Banglore leg on 22nd feb. But u can still go to check out the chicks.
