I use to play guitar. I love guitar. I can play leading (notations of a song) of old hindi songs. Can play new songs also by listening them. it takes time. I have joined the forum to learn some thing more. I can play chords of limited songs. but is there any way to understand what chords are played or should be played in a particular song. Experienced guitarists please help and tell me Chura liya hai tumne jo dil ko chords applied in it. I think E minor scale is used. Is it so? then what chords will be applied?
You don't have to be a professional but the basic theory knowledge is a pre in my opinion. Otherwise you should play the chords just by listening and thats not so simple. There are lots of threads about this issue and also try google! hello keoraf You are the first person who contacted me and guided me. It is learnt that you are a key board player. I also use to play songs on harmonium and on a simple casio one handed. I find difficulty to play music between Sthaee and Antara. What are the rules to fill the gap? Can you guide me how to play both hand keyboard?
If you really want to learn playing the keyboards, i then suggest you to take a some lessons, at least the basic lessons about how to play the keyboards. I can't tell you how to learn this the proper way, just because i taught myself how to play with both hands. I start playing harmonium in the beginning (from a teacher) as i played this instrument for one year. After that, a few friends of mine wanted to make a band and i switched over to the keyboard! I then (step by step) taught myself how to play with both hands!
Don't know what you mean by this. I guess the music between parts in a song. As far as i know, there are very less( maybe, no rules) rules when you are making some music. Just one thing, people should like/ love it, at least the creator should like it!

Can any one tell me most popular 10 or 20 song which are mostly played by the guitarist? If song with chords is mentioned then i will be very thankful. I have seen some time guitarist play the same song with different chords. what are the rules for playing chords? can any knowledgeable person explain? how can a chord is derived form the notes or leading played?
