    Guys!
    Serious problem!

So as usual i was playing. I felt my guitar was off tune. I felt that i am wrong how can my guitar be off tuned, but i was just feelin so, so i checked and WTF i was offtune with the same distance in each string!

I fine tuned back. used the whammy a lot more ! Remained in tune.

But when i pulled up i got some diff in tuning.

So, after analysing, i realised that my bridge when pulled forward (to lower the tone) it resets back perfectly but when i pull it back (to go higher) I sets to another position which makes the strings higher. and when i wham back forward it sets back to standard tuning!

    What to do??

I have a Washburn N2. It has a licensed Floyd Rose!

    Plz help!!

Well to tell you the truth, the whammy is supposed to be used in one direction only. (Going down)

Pulling up is not really recommended in most bridges.

PS: Oops, I was referring to conventional tremolo seated bridges.

In a floating bridge such problem should not arise, since the unit is floating on springs.
Seems like there is a jam somewhere.

    Yeah thats what i thought!

Maybe oiling the springs should do or should i change the tension of the strings as well?
    Or just repace the strings!??!

I have fixed a lot of fixed bridges but i am not that comfortable opening up a floyd rose!!
n especially when my axe is like 850$ i cant just goof around.

    More openions plz?!?

Doesn't look like it could harm anything, except probably the paint.
