hey guys m back again wid my queries which of des amps shal i go fr & y.... roland cube 15x line6 spider 3 15 roland micro cube (though its small & wudnt giv as much power as i want) also m plannin to gt korg ax3g is der a beta processor out der wid same price tag jus in case ull ask me latr i lik to play mor of rock & metal stuff lik metallica ,system of a down, and so on...... also well a bit of blues too.... guys b quick i ave to decide by dis wekend & tel my dad whos gettin it frm us
Roland... I like the name... Now whats in a name... well... no idea but i just seem to like Roland. Its Cute!!! Korg sound masculine... go for it dude.
To be very honest i use a separate Amp and speakers. I use an Ahuja 80 Watt Amp and a pair of good speakers. What i mean by good is really good studio quality speaker. It sounds great. Also please not that i am not that great a guitar player and i use no Fender or Ibanez. So i wont be able to tell you how they will feel on my combination of amp and speaker. But you can try.
This is hw i rate the amps: line6> roland> laneys> marshall. N so i suppose spider15 must b gud... Newys, line6 n roland r quite close, just try them out n see wt fits better... Nehw, u wont regret piking any of them.
@ distorted :thnx a lot buddy ur advice is helpful as always i read som reviews i found roland betta dan line6 wad abt processor ny good1s in dis range
Just a suggestion.. You can check Youtube for actual user gear tests. Though the sound might not be of studio quality, u can learn quite a bit about the amps. I did a lotta that when looking for a new amp. From what I could infer both Line6 Spider n Roland Cube 15 are both pretty neat amps. But finally settled for a Laney LC15R. I cudnt be happier about my decision.
Thanx fr appreciation mate... N roland or line6, dats quite subjective... So u better try dem out yrself, coz wen i piked my amp, i spent sum 5-6 hrs at furtados trying out marshalls, laneys, rolands n line6... N finally found line6 the best... As wylder found laney gud, so as i said, it depends on you, wt u xpect frm the amp. a as far as the processor is concerned, i guess korg ax3g doesnt hv an expression pedal, which u myt need a lot. Korg5g hs one. In this budget i'll rate processors as: Korg>> digitech> zoom. Newys, if u getting the amp wid inbuilt effects, u can obviate the need of a processsor fr nw, save up some more n pik a better one sumtym later. If u can increase the budget pik up sumthing frm line6 or boss.
alrite m goin fr korg ax5g amp ill choose da day i ave a trip to da shop guitar made up my mind its ibanez rg350ex
givin it anothr thought mayb ill jus gt a good amp nw roland cube 15x has pretty good effects inbuilt ill sav up & buy processor or pedals latr went to bhargavas ystrday wow was amazed to see al dos guiars freakin cool!!
Roland Cube >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Line 6 Spider 3. Get the Roland. Seriously. The effects are better, the distortion is better, the cleans are better. (cleans based off the infamous Roland Jazz Chorus, one of the ***iest solid state amps ever.) Also, consider Vox Valvetronix AD15VT. It's a bit more expensive, but it's a REALLY nice amp. Look it up. As far as practice amps go, Roland>Laney>Marshall>Line 6 As far as REAL valve amps go: Marshall and Laney are both great, both very suited for various styles of music.
^U found evn marshalls better den line6... Dats rly rly weird.... I guess we r speaking of marshalls u get in india... Newys, dats quite subjective, opinions can vary a lot... I suppose u dint like the distortion on line6, which is superb in my opinion. N i never spoke of valves. i'll still say, Line6>roland>>>>>>>>>>>>laney>>>>>>marshall Newyz, let the guy decide fr himself... Dere is no point feeding him all this n he piks up widout trying dem thoroughly... Let him spend a day or two at the stores n crank up a few amps himself...
You're right, he should really try em out. Yup, the distortion (imho) is like a bunch of angry bees in a box. The Marshall has better distortion, the Line 6 has better cleans. But what any beginner really wants is cool distortion right?! I know you didn't mention valves, i did. So.....what's been going on recently around here?
well i tried on da 2 amps spider III & roland too fr arnd 2 days straight at last found roland beta thanks a lot guys u ave been a lot of help fr dis newbie
spider 3 is fr 7.5k roland cube 15x is fr 5.5k also i thought marshal wid digital effects was pretty ok but din lik da sound sooooo much as da guys say betta try dem out & if u ask me its real fun doin it
True....no effects except distortion on the 15X. But its quality. The Spider has a crapload of effects but they're just okay. He can get an effects pedal later of he needs.
