Listen to the song in slow speed, that does it most of the time...
    few common strumming patterns are:
    D DU UDU
    D DUD UUDUD
    DDU UD
    DD UDUDD
    DD UUD

n many more......try any pattern, you'll know if it fits-in the tempo...

easiest song tht every1 agrees upon is
Papa kehte hain - D DU UDU strum, Sayonee and TZP - Maa has same pattern.
    also
    The call - Ye Pal(Aasma) - DD D UDUDUD
Dooba Dooba rehta hu - DDDDUDUD DDU
Ye mera Dil - DDDDD DUDc DDUD DDDc

    c means left hand muting,
note that spaces mean momentary pauses, more the spaces, more the pause
strumming patterns differ with person to person, so try whteva u like, if sombdy comes up with a better thing!
n lastly, u need ne english song strums, ask for it here, i'l respond

listen to the song care fully then check if the sound is same you will need to strum down if sound changes strum up if little sound halts for a milisecond give a pause to strumming keep trying if the song does not contain clear strumming than understand the way drum is played
because drum and guitar go in the same way for the song

Basically catch the bass n snare... thou its nt always dat guitar strums xactly as drums play, may b supplementary sometyms, but most of the tyms... To begin with catch the bass n snare.

    yea, tats ryt
basically I let the music flow around with the song independently, as if I'm in some different place.......comes easily wid time, nothing to worry about!
    !!absurd!!
