Audacity is a full blown DAW.
And you need to install extra plugins and VSTs to give it funcionality.

The software that I mentioned is a small one designed exactly to do what you want.

Ofcourse Audacity is open source, but then when you anyway aint gonna pay, then does it make any diff?
    ;)

Please copy the Pitchwheel dll into your VST plugin directory.
This is usually located in "\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins"

This directory is made when you install Cubase or Nuendo. In this directory all your VST-plugins are being installed. You can make this dir just to store your VST-plugins, cause almost all music application are looking for this dir for the installed plugins.
VST plugins are software synths and software effects to be used in your sequenser, for example Cubase, Cakewalk etc.
So if you make this dir and you copied the DLL file in this dir, you then just have to refresh your effects in your prog and it will recognize your plugin(s)!
    Good luck!!!

It isn't necessary to have those prog, VST plugins can be used in lots of audio progs aswell, for example in Adobe Audition, never used Audicity but i think you can use it in this prog aswell!
