Well, I've the pleasure of owning both these pedals and yes , XT Live is much more of an extensive pedal than the MT-2 , however , I've noticed that for a metal (or hard rock if you will.) tone , I am just not able to dial in a tone on the Live! that would beat something comin off the MT-2 (with drive at full ). Is it me or has some one else noticed this as well ?
Boss MT-2 is anyway a revered king of metal. However, I don't prefer its voicing. Thin and cocked wahish Don't tell me the POD doesn't have the MT-2 simulation on its board.
