Myself Vikrant Arora is a funloving person and extremely passionate about music. I am based in New Delhi. I have been playing guitar for last 14 years or so. We had a band by the name of La Vida Amor. We had more than 100 of our own songs composed and written by us. Our songs were mainly in the genre of Hindi rock, Hinglish rock, indipop and sufi. I was among the guitarists (Both lead and rhythm) and three vocalists. Basically, we used to harmonise at certain parts of our songs as we were quite good at doing this. My friend Hemant Sharma was the back-bone of the band. He was a gifted composer and vocalist. My other friend Deepak was equally good at vocals. Neeraj at keyboards and guitar was brilliant. Anand, the little devil, was a magician with the guitar. But, unfortunately the band got dissolved in 1998 and we people never met again. Here I am, at this point of time, I would like to make a change in the phrase that "ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END". I am feeling nostalgic. I think you should contact them through facebook. After they add you, ask for a reunion and keep poking them until they agree or de-friend you.
i dont know what to say....what have you been doin after the band split? are you still into music or do some job or business?
Dear ak&guitar, I teach at an Academic Institute. Music is my life. I still play guitar and try to make new compositions and rehearse our other compositions.
Ur story sounds like movie "Rock On".. Don worry , it wnt end up like 'ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END' but with getting every friend back!
I have no issues over the entire episode. I am here to make some good friends. I am trying to live in the present while thinking of my past.
