Can we have more posts on playing the classical accoutic guitar..???

Exercises etc. that can help with improving your finger placements, speed...

I am learning guitar using a nylon string accoustic guitar.. would help me greatly if we had posts specific to accoustic guitar requirements.

    Thanks

Suggest you buy Carrull's fingering techniques, which have about 100 hundred exercises for the right and left hand

First lesson, nylon string guitars are either classical guitars or flamenco guitars, not acoustic. Acoustics have metal strings... :D

I learned from the Frederick Noad book, and then i moved on to the royal conservatory of music repertoire classical guitar series. The Noad book gave me a great foundation and it had a good selection of pieces. The royal conservatory books have good pieces in them to help you out with various techniques in a "fun" way.

Yes do get a classical guitar first, not an acoustic. The classical guitar will help you execute the fingerings more efficiently. Or i guess more easily.

Also, i'd rather just work on classical guitar pieces, not techniques, why learn a technique or be able to pick at a certain speed if it's not even necessary to achieve proficiency on a certain piece. It's 12 am so i may not be making a lot of sense, if so, apologies.

    Yes,

I can help you about how to play but either you tell me your number or any other medium through which I would talk, or You tell me which medium will be convenient for you to learn.

If you are from Patna Bihar I will help you very easily.

    Thanks,
    Anil Kumar

    learn classical guitar

    Hello,
I'm a new comer just joint you today. I love classical music since small particularly the guitar but without opportunity to learn it. Now at age of 52, I managed to fulfill my childhood dream by learning classical guitar at Yamaha Music School in May this year at my hometown, Kota Bharu, Malaysia. Its a challenge but the passion made things easy for me. I got the tips and technique from various websites apart from formal lessons. It helps me a lot. Now I'm in the midst of perfecting my playing of Romance d'amour, a well known Spanish folk song. Great! Hope you all keep the passion forever. Bye!
