    Way to read this chart:
The chords given below each line is already in 4/4 time
But if you still wish to change as per syllables, I have put each syllable in [BOX] brackets
Each chord change is where the [ BOX ] appears

    Great Work Bandbaaja !!

Though I'm not convinced bout Fmaj7 as below ..

    [] Teri Ha[see]eee [] Teri A[daa]aaa
    / Am / D / Fmaj7 / D /

    I think it should be / Am / D / Am / D /

    What say ?

    thats the whole deal :)
the notes if played are same for Teri Haseen Teri Adaa
    but the chords change
    you can do

    / Am / D/ Fmaj7 / D /
    or
    / Am / D/ C / D /

I think it is F maj7 there because the first time you play
Teri Hasee - you play Am in Teri with the notes E A C E and
    Teri Adaaa - you play Fmaj7 there with the notes F A C E

The numbers in brackets indicate finger numbers
X means you dont play that string
    (O) means you play that string open

    A minor

    X...X...D...G...B..(O)
    =====================
    |...|...|...|...|...|
    |...|...|...|...|...|

    |...|...|...|...|...|

    ---------------------

    F major 7

    X...X...D...G...B..(O)

    |...|...|...|...|...|
    |...|...|...|...|...|
    |...|...|...|..(1)..|

    |...|...|...|...|...|

This strumming can be used for playing the song solo on one guitar

    1-&-2-&-3-&-4-&-5-&-6-&-7-&-8-&-
    D---D---d-----u--D-U-D---d-------

D is a HARD DOWN STROKE where the note sustains till the next stroke
d is a SOFT DOWN STROKE where the note does not sustain beyond the count it is played

U is a HARD UP STROKE where the note sustains till the next stroke
u is a SOFT UP STROKE where the note does not sustain beyond the count it is played

If you notice I have posted the same pattern for Ya Ali
Ya Ali will be played faster and this will be in a cooler soft pace

    arre bhai log
listen carefully its the D chord, the F# note is very evident in that fast strumming pattern that is used behind the O o o part.

there is a guitar playing the chords on the higher frets
the D played there is in the x-12-12-11-10-10 position

    Hey ...
4/4 means stroking on every count of 4 .Its actually a meteornome count.
    ie , 1 strike 2 strike 3 strike 4 strike
    similarly u can have a 3 /4 which means 1 strike 2 strike 3 strike 4 null

    etc etc..:aggre:

Hope the gurus over here can explain to u in detail:rule:

G sounds good coz u play f# on bass like the author put it.
i play it as D/F#(on higher string) , it sounds more original than D or G for me coz the shift back to fmaj7 is smoother that way.But then again its personal taste and also on how you sing the part.

    BTW thanks for the chords....bandbaaja
